Carrie Kirkpatrick is a born and bred Londoner. She produced some very fine films for over twenty years, having trained with the famous commercials director, Tony Kaye and also at the BBC, where she specialised in factual programming. Later her own production company called Divine Productions produced commercials but also strayed into in the areas of Paganism, Magic and the paranormal. One film that she presented for the festival featured the late Thelemite and author Gerald Suster who sadly passed on before just weeks before he was due to appear at Occulture 2001. So via Carrie’s work Gerald made it festival in the end – much toasting followed.
